The hotel stands out due to its historical charm, nestled right next to a 12th Century Abbey and featuring a mix of architecture spanning centuries, including a striking hooded stone fireplace in the dining area. The well-maintained garden and stone patio outside offer a nice retreat to relax in the fresh air.
The setup of some rooms in the annex facing the car park can be a drawback, as external noise from gathering guests can disrupt sleep, especially for early birds. the lighting inside the Cozy Double Room felt subdued, and shower controls posed a bit of a challenge with small instructions that required glasses to read, which certainly isn’t ideal when juggling a hot water setup. The breakfast selection might leave something to be desired, as the cold buffet felt minimal and lacked variety—definitely could use some improvement.

Had a fantastic time with friends! We enjoyed exploring the stunning Westonbirt Arboretum and even tried paddle boarding at the Cotswold Water Park. The hotel was cozy with friendly staff and a delicious breakfast. Don't miss out on the lovely walks right outside your door.
The service could be improved, as we faced delays while trying to order snacks in the bar area, which made us feel undervalued as guests.

I had a wonderful experience in the cozy double room, enjoying the picturesque view right from my window. The staff were attentive but could improve their service speed. Make sure to reserve a table in advance, especially during busy periods, to enhance your dining experience.

Cozy Double Room, Coach House, outdoor terrace for drinks, preservation of historical features
Consider upgrading the room maintenance standards!!! The lack of proper temperature control in rooms is disappointing and really detracted from the stay. Management should focus on better event handling for a more enjoyable guest experience!!!
